I’m using a classic email address. Right now, if a Delta Chat user, who also uses a classic email address for relaying, messages me by mail address instead of invite link, I receive an unencrypted email. And my reply will be unencrypted as well, even though we both have autocrypt-capable MUAs.
The unencrypted mail even contains an Autocrypt header. I propose we:
- Automatically create a key contact from the Autocrypt header
- Show an info message which says “upgrade this chat to encrypted”
- When clicking on the info message, show the contact view of the key contact, so the receiver can start a chat with it.
