What OS are you on? Did you give Delta Chat the permission to use the camera?

there were no requests for access to the camera

Yes, there is no permission pop-up on Windows, but I believe there is still permission control for it in settings. Please check that.

Also check if the Delta Chat’s QR scanner works.

The DeltaChat app is missing from the camera and microphone access settings.

Does sending an audio message also not work? Did you manage to fix it somehow? Are there other Windows 11 users where it is working?
