QuicksyServer: phone number directory lookup for email adresses?

Some people seem to want address book matching, and Quicksy is a derivate of the Conversations XMPP App providing that feature.

They also published the server code:

As jabber IDs look the same as email addresses, there might even only be a patch needed when storing both on a shared server…

Oh, email is second in the TODO already:

* Allow multiple entries (phone numbers) per Jabber ID
* Generalize look up method and allow email addresses (and potentially all sort of uris) to be stored in the directory
* XEPify look up method
* Give verified users access to query the directory (Probably configurable via config flag)
* send IQ ping when 'already on another device' error occurs
* additionally look up XMPP uris in enum domains / DNS

So deltachat may optionally offer to query the directory, or even to register.

Registration in that directory costs 5€, so maybe use another one or a decentralized one if sth. like that exists?

It’s 5€ at THAT service. But since it’s server is open source it could be hosted anywhere. Even for free
