mail is hosted at strato.de – I have to add imap.strato.de and smtp.strato.de as servers manually.

If it’s your domain, you can run HTTPS server there and add autoconfig XML:

This kind of configuration should be put into the standard XML file also supported by Thunderbird: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Thunderbird/Autoconfiguration#configuration_server_at_isp Delta Chat will pick it up too during autoconfiguration.
