Frage: Mailinfo with new naming / Emailinfo bei neuen Chatnachrichten?

Hello,

We are considering using Delta Chat.
And the main concern is that it would be adjustable that you ALWAYS and IMMEDIATELY receive an e-mail about new chat messages in which you are addressed with @[name].

Why? When working, we have many windows open at the same time - we don’t always see that there is a new message in the chat window (Google Chat).
Google Chat does allow you to receive mail messages. However, if you are online, these are not sent or are only sent once a day in the evening - too late.

Is it possible with Delta Chat to always reliably receive an e-mail when you are named, even if you are logged in?

If not, does anyone know of a chat tool that works on the desktop under Windows and Linux that can do this?

wir überlegen, Delta Chat zu verwenden.
Und Hauptanliegen ist, dass es einstellbar wäre, dass man über neue Chatnachrichten, in denen man mit @[Name] angesprochen wird, IMMER und SOFORT eine Mail erhält.

Warum? Beim arbeiten haben wir viele Fenster gleichzeitig offen - nicht immer sehen wir, dass im Chatfenster (Google Chat) eine neue Nachricht da ist.
Google Chat ermöglicht zwar, dass man Mailnachrichten erhält. Wenn man aber online ist, werde diese nicht oder nur einmal täglich Abends zugesendet - zu spät.

Ist es mit Delta Chat möglich, bei namentlicher Nennung zuverlässig immer eine Mail zu erhalten, auch wenn man eingeloggt ist?

Falls nicht - wüsste jemand ein Chattool, das auf dem Desktop unter Windows und Linux funktioniert und das das kann?

Delta Chat has meanwhile reliable notifications on all platforms, see FAQ - Delta Chat

if I got it correctly the problem is about notifying mentions (ex. @r10s ) so in a group chat from work you get notified when some team member mentions you in the group chat so this message that requires your attention doesn’t get lost in the flood of the chat

this makes me think that they didn’t understand properly that Delta Chat is email and EVERY message with send you an email, it is normal to get confused with Google Chat claiming to “bring chatting into email” when actually is a totally different service and not really email so it seems @Ulrich thinks Delta Chat is similar and not really email

Yes, I thought, Delta Chat is a Desktop Chat program.
I do want t get a mail, only when mentioned with @xyz, not for every chatpost. That would be too much.
Is that possible with Delta?

delta chat is an email client. So when you get an email to the email account you use in delta chat, then that email appears in delta chat as chat message.
Delta Chat has no “@mention” feature yet, but it is planned (Direct mention on groups).
