It would interesting to have an easy way to see if members of a group read/saw the last entry of a group chat.
What does actually indicate if we see a double check symbol on a post we posted into a group chat ?
just realized that if we view the list of the members of a group - the order is sorted by the date of the last visit - so this is already a good indication
If you enable read receipts in your settings, then you can find who viewed your last message (if they have the same setting enabled) if you click on … → Info.

Glad to hear that it worked for you.
Just for the sake of completeness, an hourglass after the message means it is queued for sending, a single checkmark means it was accepted by your server, an exclamation mark means any of the recipients had produced an error and a double checkmark means no error was received and at least one of the clients got the message.
It would be great if avatars could be listed instead of a double checkmark similarly to how other messaging apps work.
